A couple of days after our two-day ice storm we had nice enough weather to play outside; go figure. So Emma and I spent the morning in the front yard and driveway playing with all the various outdoor toys she hadn’t been able to play with in a while. We jumped rope, played basketball and soccer, threw Frisbees, hit plastic golf, drew on the sidewalk, dug in the dirt, and rode her car and tricycle. Later we walked up to feed the ducks at my office.
This is the first time it’s been nice enough outside for her to try out her tricycle helmet she was given for Christmas. It fits great and she loves it! I just need to tighten the straps a bit. She did really well for a while, both pedaling and steering.
