Meet the Franklins!
Emma is our 3 year old daughter. She is cute as a button and is usually well-behaved and a very sweet girl. She loves playing with Mom and Dad, coloring/painting, reading, and especially being outdoors (particularly on the trampoline). She's into Care Bears, dollies, Potato Heads, trains, and anything farm-related, particularly horses. She is really excited about the new baby and loves to help. Her birthday is December 9th.
Everett (Joseph Everett) is our newborn son. He arrived the day before Thanksgiving (November 26th) and is an absolute joy. Thus far he is sleeping and eating well and really is quite content most of the time. He is named after Tim's father, which carries on a long family tradition of men named Joseph E. Franklin... but we're going to call him Everett to be less confusing.
Steph is a stay-at-home mom who enjoys playing with Emma, taking care of our new baby, baking, crafts, and cleaning! She is actively involved with a local stay-at-home moms group and enjoys getting together on playdates with the kids and especially likes the occasional mom's night out. Her birthday is October 13th.
Tim works as a software developer for a large trucking company and enjoys spending time with the family, riding his mountain bike to/from the office, playing ultimate frisbee, being involved in the local .NET user group, and working on the family web site. He's an avid Washington Redskins fan and is teaching Emma and Everett the ways of Burgundy and Gold. His birthday is July 4th.
Steph and Tim were high school sweethearts who went to college together and married on January 3rd, 2004.
We are members of a local Missionary Baptist church and enjoy participating in local community events.
