Emma turned 3 years old today… can you believe it?  Time flies.  She had a lot of fun making breakfast with Mommy (and Everett) while I was at work and she got to open presents when I came home for lunch.  She especially liked her new Care Bears sleeping bag and slept with it during nap but even more than that she enjoyed her new Little Tykes basketball goal.  She’s very excited to use her new sidewalk paint and brush but the weather was cold and nasty outside today so we had to postpone.  Steph took Emma to the salon and the two of them got their hair cut and styled.  Later, Steph baked Emma a birthday cake—purple, per her request.

I didn’t realize until after Emma went to bed that she wasn’t ever looking directly at the camera for any of the photos!  But we remember her big grins and excitement so that’s what counts.
